THANK YOU ~anya1916 FOR PUTTING THE PICTURES IN FLASH FOR ME, and doing those awesome effects!

Well, it’s finally happened. Probably the biggest project I’ve taken on in the name of my DevaintART world, and here it is, in its finished… well, it’s finished. I reached 10,000 pageviews sometime a little while ago, and I got this idea to draw my watchers’ characters partying themselves silly with my characters as a thank you to those fantabulous people who are always supporting me. It at that point got somewhat out of my hands—Zelenn wanted a much bigger deal (her extroversion sometimes hangs my introversion out to dry LOL), and I remembered I had to juggle doing it in between essays and homework for school and so forth. So we’ve been partying for a good month or so, and the party now celebrates the time it took for me to go from 10,000 pageviews to 11,000 pageviews.

So now, let’s look at the pictures! Don’t forget to thank Errol for these Kodak moments—he was the official Party Photographer. His work isn’t very professional, but he was willing to work *fairly* cheap.

(1) Sid and Zelenn: The first picture is of ~SuperAndi’s character Sid (who currently cannot be found in his gallery What’s up with that??), being quite silly with Zelenn. Sid was the first arrival to the party, and while her punctuality was surprising, Zelenn had a lot of fun doing some one-on-one with her. I believe they were reciting “OFF WITH HER HEAD!!” as the picture was being taken, which was appropriate, because Sid has a special relationship with the Cheshire Cat.

(2) Vashi and Nebula: The next picture (from left to right) is of Vashi (although I think I got that wrong; her name might be Ember), who belongs to ~Vashi, who’s apparently hit it off with ~AurenGreenleaf’s character, Nebula. For each I altered the original design of their costumes a tad to give them a more modern look for the party, and I hope ~Vashi and ~AurenGreenleaf don’t mind. By determination, it’s impossible to guess who’s dancing on either ends of the two girls—there isn’t ONE guy in a blue shirt in any of the other pictures taken at the party.

(3) The DJs: Swift, Goba, Blue Kitty, and Shae: The true force behind the party was definitely the music, supplied skillfully by the four animals who attended the party. From left to right, there is Swift the whippet, owned by ~swiftwhippet, Goba the bolbolkwo, owned by ~anya1916, Blue Kitty (tentatively named; I don’t think Tiger Lili’s named her) the… blue kitty, owned by ~PrincessTigerLili, and last but certainly not least, Shae the little dragon, owned by ~ShatteredConfusions. Don’t ask me about Swift’s, Goba’s, and Blue Kitty’s outfits— they’re playing their roles as DJs, as it were, dressing up as true rappers with the bling and the grills (pfft like I know what I’m talking about; they’re laughing at me now ). Shae apparently opted out of their stunt, a decision I appreciate.

(4) Brandywine and Captain Acheron Zeal: Brandy, being another big extroverted character of mine, was also there to celebrate at the party, and while she did nothing to really help plan the festivities (something Zelenn I think perfectly accepted), she did do something that added a level of humor to the party: Brandy, being the pirate she is, spiked the punch Zelenn made. It was discovered pretty quickly, but it’d done its work nonetheless—the only person who voluntarily drank from the punch after it was revealed that it had been tampered with was Captain Zeal, owned by *CapnFlynn. As the only conscious drinker from then on, and being a Captain at that, Brandy took an instant interest in the mysterious Zeal, and spent a moment flirting with him. Errol derived an enormous amount of hilarity from this (reasons escape me), so he snapped a picture of Brandy in full-fledged charm. Zeal overall had nothing to do with her. His heart is not-so-secretly devoted to another of *CapnFlynn’s characters.

(5) Ian, Brandywine, and Captain Acheron Zeal: I added this picture in much later, because of an important development that came up while I was still drawing these pictures, and that was that Brandy became involved with ~aeolus06’s pirate character, Ian, so I thought I’d add some extra humor in with her boyfriend catching her flirting with Zeal. Not to worry, though—it’s said that Ian and Brandy left the party together, once again enamored with each other. Zeal remained ever apathetic to his situation. I did not get permission from ~aeolus06 to use Ian, so I hope it’s all right with him that I included Ian in this!

(6) Alnek: We see the effects of Brandy’s spiking of the punch. Poor Alnek, owned by *cocowash, was such a little wallflower before the punch was brought out. Because he was a little too reserved to join the dancing, he innocently lingered around the punch bowl and drank comparably more than everyone else before the alcohol was discovered, so his inhibitions dropped significantly. With Alnek’s defenses down, he’s been credited with being one of the best dancers at the party, not to mention being the centerpiece of the picture Errol considers turned out the best.

(7) Disco Mathieu: This may be the most controversial picture I did because of its glaring inaccuracies. Mathieu belongs to *rleeny, and with little more than pictures to go by for Mathieu, since he has no back-story, I began to get an intuitive vibe from him that he had a long-suppressed love for disco, mostly because the pictures *rleeny has drawn of him are so somber. So I imagined him surprising everyone by jumping up on the dance floor in his Travolta-best, and finger-pointing like nobody’s business. His hair is also supposed to be black, and I colored it a lamentable brown.

(8) The Girls Do the Can-Can: Perhaps considered the climax of the whole party, a group of girls began a Can-Can line, which most of them considered a riot. From left to right, there is Zelenn, Anthro Aluinn (with a very important shirt on), owned by ~aluinn, Lithya, owned by ~owp, Kiya (who is making a face!), owned by ~kiyahocks, and Thistle, owned by ~hanyouvixen.

(9) The Guys Try To Do the Can-Can: Seeing the comedic value in it, the very small group of guys at the party (excluding two) combined forces to out-Can-Can the line of girls, but it ended up that all the girls did was laugh at them because of their unsynchronized steps. From left to right, there is Gho Froud, owned by ~FroudTheXenophile, Ian, owned by ~aeolus06, Tyson (who is currently not in ~Rockesstra’s gallery/scraps), owned by ~Rockesstra, and Captain Zeal (who was unfortunately caught blinking), owned by *CapnFlynn.

(10) Gwen, Ana, and Aine: Yes, they are barefoot! They all came in open-toed sandals, so they collectively decided to shed them when they realized they were too uncomfortable to dance in. From left to right, there is Gwen, owned by ~Mairelyn, Ana, owned by =away-with-the-fae, and Aine, who is currently not drawn but is a main character in ~Fayestardust’s story. And yes, Ana has a type of bird with her—a raven, to be exact—but it’s way misshapen, and it kind of looks like it’s drunk. I’ve realized drawing birds is not a strong point of mine, and after this, I won’t be drawing them, like, ever again. “Quoth Trounced: nevermore!”

(11) Lexia and Gho: Lexia, owned by ~Rotzi, quite inexplicably looked to me like she was in desperate need to Tango. Lexia has a reputation of cross-dressing, which I inadvertently did not express because I forgot when I drew her (hence the dress) but despite her appearance, I know she’s got it in her. Enter Gho Froud: Gho has it in his record to be a “drag-queen”, so I thought these two went strangely hand in hand, and so I naturally paired them for the Tango, a rose even in Gho’s teeth.

(12) Natalie and Zelenn: The final picture of the series: Natalie, owned by ~emiliaa, and Zelenn twirling each other around. By this time, the party has begun to dissipate, seeing that we have passed 11,000 pageviews, and it’s time to go home. While waiting for Natalie’s ride, these two got to know each other a little better, since ~emiliaa is a new watcher of mine.
