Andrey Parrish

I discovered EGGTech early in December, and I was instantly intrigued. Course, I'm always instantly intrigued whenever I'm given the opportunity to create a new character, but the world the creators of EGGTech have come up with is so well thought out and fun that it was hard to ignore. So I came up with Andrey, who has so far been a lot of fun to draw. This is his character sheet that I'm submitting for review, hopefully to get it accepted! Want to know what on earth EGGTech is? Name: Andrey Reyn Parrish
Gender: Male
Height: 5ft and 5in
Age: 15
Date of Birth: September 17, 1995
Occupation: Freshman at Wallace C. Fenmoore High School. Andrey's legal guardians (his uncle and aunt), Howell and Ismene Parrish, have cosigned for the EGG.

Personality: Andrey is sensitive and observant, constantly aware of his environment and what's going on around him. Selective and sometimes critical, he examines everything carefully and can be exacting. He wants to feel in control of himself. He likes to have meaningful social interactions, although he naturally withdraws from people if he feels uncomfortable. When he is comfortable, though, he is considerate, warm, and subtle in his affection, always giving of himself first.

Brief History: As a child, Andrey was always fascinated by EGGTech and seeing other children playing with their EGGs and the creatures that hatched from them. His young mother, Hannah, however, being the sole provider of their home, could never afford to get him one. When Andrey was 14, his mother suffered a heart attack while she was at work, which eventually killed her hours after she went to the hospital, before her son could see her. Hannah's twin brother, Howell, and his wife Ismene were Andrey's next of kin, and they welcomed him into their family, having just recently adopted a little girl, Eira. In the wake of his mother's sudden death, Andrey broke out in rebellion, ignoring school, disrespecting his family, and even flirting with the iron fist of Cedaren law enforcement. Desperate to control Andrey and appease the grief he was acting out against, Ismene, remembering his childhood fondness for them, suggested getting him an EGG. She argued that it would give him something to love again—a non-threatening recipient of his compassion that he was so unwilling to allow anyone to have—and provide companionship and reciprocated devotion.

Quirks and Other Information:
-Enjoys numbers. Math is practically the only homework he'll do anymore, just because he likes solving the problems.
-Seeks out places to explore, be it in a wooded area of the city or a new building.
-Afraid of medium/large dogs, and hates little dogs.
-Loves his adopted cousin. She is the closest thing he has to a sister, but he rarely expresses his affection toward her.
-Owns a red and black hoodie his mother gave him, and he wears it daily.
-Can't sleep with socks on.
