Disney's Cubist Characters

As a way to promote the activities going on for DA's 9th birthday, as well as spur club activity, my Disney club, =DisneyDreamers, prompted us all to challenge ourselves and find some Disney theme in the Coloring Contest Bonanza template DeviantART provided. I've always been mildly interested in these things whenever they pop up, but I've never actually done one until now. Maybe it was helpful to have to find a theme that I have no resistance to whatsoever. I've also recently developed an unfathomable interest and respect in my discovery that most Disney characters can be recognized almost instantly, even when viewed from the back, or even skewed, and this was a golden opportunity to exploit that. But whatever the reason, I gladly played around with what I could find, and what do you know? Cubism Ariel and Jasmine, recognizable almost instantly, even though Jasmine in particular makes no friggin' sense.

The only thing is that I really had no intention of submitting this to the actual Coloring Contest Bonanza--I was simply doing it for my club--but when I went looking, I couldn't figure out any suitable alternative category to submit this to. So my template has joined the many other hundreds of contestants, but since I didn't use a birthday theme it'll be disqualified, and I feel bad for making them sift through another entry that didn't meet criteria. Oh well. Anyway, hope you all get a chuckle out of this.

Ariel and Jasmine of course belong to Disney...
