This was my entry for one of :icondisneydreamers: past contests.

The contest theme was “What do you dream of when you dream of Disney?” and, as some of my usual watchers and friends are aware, one of my biggest dreams is to work for Disney (traditional animation only, though :disbelief:). :blushes:

To me, Disney characters make you dream. They inspire you even when you’re tiny that there’s nothing out there you can’t do if you want it bad enough. To me, these three characters specifically inspire me to dream my greatest dream. They each had something they desired over anything—Belle was a provincial girl who longed for an adventure and unconditional understanding; Aladdin was a poor street rat who dreamed to one day climb the ranks and be able to be with the person he loved, and Ariel was a mermaid who dreamed of taking her place in a completely different world—and no matter how impossible their aspirations sometimes appeared or how hard the lessons were to learn, they never forgot what they believed in, and never forgot why they believed in it. All Disney characters dream; from Cinderella to Simba to Jim Hawkins, and they each tell us to live for it.

It’s what these characters tell me that I have to remember. Our dreams are only as close or as far away as we think they are. What do I dream of when I dream of Disney? I dream of dreams.

This is simply magical... I love how you spaced out the different backgrounds with the colours you chose incorporating into into eachother.

I must say I love the traditional style of the olden days of our youth, but my dad aslo pointed out that its not just the style, its the story. Belle, Aladdin and Ariel all have such fascinating stories that capture the heart, so thought out so alive... and nowadays its so... dead.

This is beautiful... you've just made me wish my disney marathon with my friends was right now not later. ^^

Absolutely stunning! :omg: And I agree, Disney characters are there to make one reach for the stars, and dream for more. They're inspiring. :)

Nice! Your poses, as usual, are excellent; I just love how you draw faces, too. Good luck in that contest!

BTW, I heard rumor that Disney might be getting back into 2D...?
Awesome job, I especially love Belle in this picture!
If Disney got back into 2D animation that would be a miracle. I was rather distressed to find they had shut down all of their traditional animation studios. As much as I like the 3D animaition 2D will always rule my heart.

In more realation to the picture.

Its really beautiful I love how each merges into the other. Not to mention these were 3 of my favourite Disney movies when I was little. Man I love Disney.

"So come then you heroes, come in all your power and glory...For in the final hour, all must serve the one...true...King."
Once again something absolutly stunning. I love how everything intertwines with eachother. ^^

Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

I love it! Especially Aladdin's determined expression. It's beautiful and whimsical, with those beautiful bright colors and flashes of magic that are totally appropriate :D
Awesome!
Compositionally, it's awesome. Everything leads smoothly into each other. Great work!

Plus your Aladdin is really hot. :P
