Same Difference

Surprisingly, another drawing of Rita, this time accompanied by her friend and eventual mentor and love interest, Gregory Smith. Greg was drawn by my sister, NOT me.
In this scene, Greg is trying to have a serious conversation with her, but all Rita wants to do is be someone she's not for a little while.
In the story, Rita really has no idea who she is, but does a good job at being lots of different types of people to cover it up. Greg, in the midst of an accidental relationship with Rita and her off-and-on live-in boyfriend, is the only one who can (or at least cares to) notice that Rita's stuck, and does his best to lead her in some sort of honest direction. Unfortunately, it's ultimately not a direction Rita feels comfortable with.

I really like this picture, though this one might join the other in the scraps as well.
