My entry for 's contest. The theme for the contest was to draw her dragon persona with the participant's own original character, so here it is. ~ShatteredConfusions's dragoness, Shae, to the left, and to the right my character of whom you've been seeing a lot of recently, Zelenn. The two have just run into each other when their paths crossed. Shae looks a tad more ferocious than I had planned for her to, but knowing Zelenn, she'll most likely talk her into a more sociable mood. ^___^

It was a goal of mine when I drew this to have a *ahem* more realistic twist to it than some of my other drawings. Before drawing, I looked up quite a bit of Micheal Whelan's work, which helped me get a feel for how the muscles clumped on the dragon. His work was also somewhat of an inspiration for this piece, but I did not copy anything when I made my sketch. I used a reference for the rocks because I'm so bad at backgrounds.
